Wednesday 16th September Rugby Lions Under 15’s - 69 points v Leamington RFC Under 15’s - 5 points Leamington welcomed Lions midweek for their first floodlit match and began the game in top form. Lions hardly touched the ball for 10 minutes and were trapped in deep defense but their line held firm and as the storm waned Lions scored three tries from Zac Baldwin, Jackson Hughes and Jonny Ure with Harry Parsons converting one. As the game wore on Lions took control and with their forwards winning more and more possession Lions scored further tries from Jonny Ure (3), Harry Parsons, Will Tuite-Dalton and Jackson Hughes with Parsons converting two and Dodds converting one. Leamington never stopped working however and were rewarded with a smart try from a quick penalty but in this hard fought game Lions had two magic moments when first Lewis Dodds broke from under his posts and ran the length of the field to score and then from the kick off Zac Baldwin repeated the feat with Dodds converting both.

The Under 14s showed what a strong squad they have when they enjoyed a try fest against Leicester Lions last Sunday.
In the first half Jack Taylor managed to run in a hat trick out on the right wing whilst new boy Jake Fuller also got his name on the score sheet following a strong run through the middle of the Leicester defence. Ashley Moore managed a pick up and run try from Number 8 to bring the tally to 25-0 and with Alex Rae going over just before the half time whistle and the subsequent conversion from Josh Cook going over, the score at half time was 32-0.
In the second half Jake managed to score another 2 tries to complete his hat trick and with Alex scoring another the score board was rolling on at a pace. Leicester managed to claw 1 try back but this only served to renew the Rugby enthusiasm and there were soon more tries from Chris Easton and Connor Deery.
The final score was 61-7 and the lads will now enjoy a well deserved break before their next game.
